Libraries are often built around protection from light, rather than the quality of this life bringing ‘material’. this library is refuge made of overlapping shelves, it looks like a cave which provide people a place to study, do research, and etc.

The library structure consists of shelves of various dimension organism and support entire building by waffle structure. waffle structure also served as book shelves.

The library has a luminous globe theatre, resembling an eyeball, as a center piece of the open. the structure is a spectacular sight in its own right – walled in dramatic floor-to-ceiling cascading bookcases and serve as the structure of the building. The angles and curves of the space are meant to stimulate different uses of the space, such as walking, meeting, discussing and of course reading. The capacious library has the capacity to hold a staggering 5 hundred thousand books.
